We are currently working on procedural cities and some destruction FX for the giga scenes...
piles of debries and trash.... For the destruction FX... but we have to crate a few more Those will be left behind when Ryung crosses ^^
plant-overgrown piles will be next... Some testrenders are already published and many more follow ^^
We are currently testing our newly started Discord Server with it's functions....
Including a small RPG gimmick... ^^
It is a text and image based RolePlayBot that enables the user to travel over virtual maps and fight against some mobs (like tinies and giants) ^^ It is nothing special... but some fun in my opinion. But I'm also very new to that kind of chat game...
Of course it is very simple.. and since its just a chat funtion it is very limited. But within its limits... it think it works well... Would love to hear your thoughts about that.
Anyone who has someexperience with that kind of games?

Hello everyone! :D
Short update from our side :)
We are currently preparing the next scenes for Mega-Ryung episode 6 ... and since there are a lot of GIGA scenes planned we have to do some more low-poly buildings.... so i work on that in blender... (and there was an update to blender 4.0 and for that reason some textures on old buildings are broken -and they are pink now xD - and i have to fix that too xD)
I also learn how to animate crowds in blender. It is actually not that complicated (gladly) and i think we can use that very well for some scenes: Imagine a city shot from above where hundreds of people run around screaming and then comes a huge foot down on their city-block ^^ -> If everything works it will be nice ... we will see ^^
And sine Ryung is way bigger now... she will not only be attacked by drones, but by some starfighters. For those scenes I'm currently modeling a low-poly starship that fits with the big Space-Force ships from the other episodes (texture and style-wise):

Actually it felt like a nightmare to rigg this model
I have never done weight-painting before.... so i had a lot to learn... and i'm still far from professional xD But i made some progress...
Of course i've done animation before, but as you may remember just with robots ^^
Since they have techno-parts that do not bend at all...and for that reason do not need any weight paint in blender.. it was way easier to animate But.... of course we want to add some other characters and maybe some small people in the background who get stomped .... so some animation would be very helpful...
And... of course we wanted to add Lyxe for quiet a while .. and her model is specially complicated since she has a tail and 6 gill-extensions on her head that all need rigging and weight-painting too ^^
So ... had a hard time with this... and the model is still not perfect and has some issues and artifacts ... but it is good enough for the next few episodes ^^
So i really wonder how it will feel to finally see her in the upcoming episode :) By the way.... this was the biggest problem we had .. so now with this out of the way we will probably have good and fast progress with the episode from now on ^^
(had some computer issues too which are also resolved by now.. so i'm optimistic) :)
What do you think? Looking forward to see Lyxe? Or more interested of seeing tiny animated people getting stomped by Ryung? xD
